Cerritos Round 1

When we heard the Hauder’s were going to be in Cerritos over the holidays we amended our original plans so we could spend a few days with them. Miles was super excited to see Luke and spend time with his buddy. He has been such a champ on this trip. We know he really just wants to be back in McCall with his friends but he’s making the most of time with the fam.

After our day in La Paz we drove back to Cerritos together. We found a place to camp at the new Cerritos Beach Club and after we got set up we met the Hauder’s at Barracuda for dinner. It was so enjoyable being with friends and we loved being with them for the next couple days, spending time at the beach and in Todos Santos. A highlight was dinner with just the adults at Carlitos in Pescadero.

Camping on the beach was a new experience for us since we’ve always been in a condo in this town. The first night was pretty quiet after the mariachi music someone was playing from their broken car stereo went away. The next couple nights were not so quiet with the drunk gringo belting out Spanish and loud music late into the night with the surf instructors camped on the beach. Not sure we would choose to camp there again, but it was a good option for the time being. Nice to be on the beach and have a bathroom available. And it felt pretty safe to leave our stuff out while at the beach. We also saw some great camper setups and met new people, so that was fun too.
